The MSF Scientific Days International conference is taking place on May 18 - 20.
Two days (May 18 & 19) will be dedicated to medical research, during which we will be challenging the norms in malnutrition management, assessing malaria control strategies in complex emergency settings, and exploring ways in which community engagement is advancing research.
Innovation Day (May 20) will identify opportunities and challenges that digital health provides during crises and showcasing new approaches for patient and community empowerment.
We are delighted to have Dr and Dr Bang, co-founders of the Society for Education, Action and Research in Community Health (SEARCH), to give the keynote address on 18 May. Their research on ‘Home-based Newborn and Child Care’ was selected as one of the milestone papers to have been published in The Lancet in the past 180 years.
We look forward to a dynamic discussion on what MSF can learn from their teachings on community engagement in healthcare.
We will also be showcasing research posters and innovation demos from across the organisation.
